Allen Ginsberg was a member of the North American Man/Boy Love Association (NAMBLA), which worked to abolish the age of consent laws. Basically, they argued that having sex with a minor is fine as long as it’s consensual. Ginsberg publicly defended the organisation when he was interviewed for a documentary in 1994.
